2026 Florida Renaissance Festival Season Entertainment Acts

New This Season!

Ari the Bard – He is a tiefling storyteller with a collection of curious magical and mysterious items in his “shop,” Ari’s Absurd Arcanum. Most items on the shelves were collected back in Ari’s adventuring days for the unusual or hilariously tragic stories associated with them, and aren’t actually for sale!  And for the fellow bards out there: he’s also a perfect person to ask for monster dating advice!

Celtic Magic – Daniel GreenWolf is an award-winning magician, writer, creator, & slightly mad Irishman. Combining Celtic storytelling, a quick Irish wit, daredevil feats, and mind-boggling illusion, this show gets the entire audience involved, and will have them walk away saying “Ooh… Aah… YES!” (Weekends 3 & 4)

Dash Rippington’s Dangerously Stupid Show – Ripped from the pages of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, multiple Guinness World Record holder Dash Rippington invites all Friends and Enemies to gather ’round as he subjects himself to discomfort—and considerable amounts of pain—all for your entertainment. Known as the “King of Animal Traps” and the originator of the SnotRocket Blockhead, Dash brings over 25 years of sideshow experience to every performance. Please note: This is a Danger Show. It is not designed for children, though we recognize that audiences of all ages often enjoy this kind of spectacle. So… who wants to watch Dash do something dangerously stupid? (Weekends 3 & 4)

Dos Cantigas (Weekends 4 – 8)

Dungeons and Shakespeare – Welcome to a world where you can see the greatest characters from Shakespeare face horrific monsters from ‘Dungeons & Dragons!’ Inspired by the Bard. Determined by dice. Join in an epic adventure that is different every time as audiences’ choices and the roll of giant dice decides if the heroes live or die. (Weekends 1 & 2)

Hammer & Bellows – Hammer and Bellows provide a rip roaring assortment of Celtic and European tunes. Featuring The Lady Victoria on hammered dulcimer and Thomas the Wanderer on accordion and lead vocals. This unique combination forges songs and ballads inspiring dancing and delight!

Lute the Living Statue (Weekends 1 – 4, 6 & 7)

Midwife Crisis – A unique act, Midwife Crisis features historical props, whimsically primitive diagrams, the occasional pun, and even rhyming iambic pentameter to deliver side-splitting comedy fueled by authenticity, historic knowledge, and past experiences as a (real life) professional birth worker. This satirical how-to guide of medieval midwifery will show you childbirth the way you’ve never seen it before. . . (Pantomimed.) (Weekends 1 & 2)

Puppies of Penzance – This brisk and energetic act takes audiences on a jolly voyage aboard a pirate ship manned entirely by pups. From canine castaways to seasoned performers, this merry band of mutts never fails to amaze. Guests will watch with bated breath to see whether “Poochie” truly walks the plank! Always a crowd favorite, these mischievous little thieves are guaranteed to steal your hearts—and maybe even your turkey legs… (Weekends 5 – 8)

Shake, Rattle, and Rogue – With Celtic roots, “Shake, Rattle, and Rogue,” will entertain you with the traditional songs you know and love, with some fun surprises in the mix too! Opa! performs a variety of ancient and traditional songs as well as some originals on Greek instruments such as the bouzouki, frame drum, doumbek, and lyre harp. Elizabeth and Shane hope to keep this beautiful music alive through education and performance.

Shakespeare Approves! – Join your friendly, neighborhood Shakespeare as he brings his multi-award-winning, one-person, audience-interactive, improv comedy Shakespeare show to you for its 20th anniversary season. He’s taking you on adventures full of merriment, sword fights, mistaken identities, star-crossed lovers, flying implements of doom, musical numbers of questionable suitability, being pursued by a bear, and … death by fluffy kittens! (Weekends 3 – 5)

Temperance Bellow (Weekends 4 – 8)

The Crimson Pirates: Skeleton Crew – This quartet of swashbuckling songsters will regale you with Celtic traditionals, haunting ballads, and hilarious comic tunes, with a repertoire that spans ancient English folksongs to the Muppets! Join this animated crew of singer-musicians as they harmonize and play over a dozen instruments, weaving their songs, stories and jokes into an exciting tapestry of maritime music and comedy!

The Rat Queen – Plagued by nothing, The RatCatcher is here to defy tradition with her love of rodents. Join her in an unconventional journey of motherhood, mischief, and might as she brings wholesome and comedic entertainment to the lanes and redefines what it means to be a rat catcher in the Renaissance era.
